The "Golden Ambrogino" for businesses and workers: 110 organizations awarded.

This year, 110 Lombard companies (43 from Milan, 33 from Monza Brianza, 34 from Lodi) and 184 workers (134 from Milan, 32 from Monza Brianza, 18 from Lodi) were awarded the "Business and Work" Prize, promoted by the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce. The prize, considered the "Ambrogino of Companies," was presented during a ceremony at the Teatro alla Scala.
In addition, there is a special recognition, "Enterprise and Value," reserved for six companies that in recent years have distinguished themselves through their corporate social responsibility and commitment to developing initiatives that foster cohesion with their local area and communities. Five are from Milan: Cum Panis, a benefit company; Krill Design; Open Terzo Settore; Rice House, a benefit company; Roadrunnerfoot Engineering; and Kolinpharma of Lainate.
Among the companies awarded the "Business and Work" prize, the Sangalli Giuliano watchmaking company stands out for its longevity, founded in 1900 and in continuous operation for 113 years.
The award, a historic recognition established by the Chambers of Commerce (renewed and consolidated in 2018 for the provinces of Milan, Monza Brianza, and Lodi), aims to recognize and publicize the stories of employees and businesses that have been continuously committed to the social and economic development of their local communities for years. Among the honorees, Tiziana Varisco, an employee of the company Pavesi Giovanni e Giacomini Anna in Limbiate (Monza and Brianza), has reached 42 years of service.
"In these particularly complex and digital times, the Impresa e Lavoro Award aims to recognize the centrality of the individual," said Carlo Sangalli, president of the Milan, Monza Brianza, and Lodi Chamber of Commerce. "Because at the heart of any innovation and any entrepreneurial story is, and must be, the creative, generative value of men and women."
